The midtone vintage overlays can give fantastic results but you will need to work your way around with it. place one or more of these video files over your footage and experiment by trying out the different blend modes. It is also recommended that you tweak around with brightness, contrast, levels, color &/or opacity settings.

They usually work great when applying the multiply blend mode, but you will probably also need to tweak around with brightness, contrast, levels, color, opacity & other settings depending of what you exactly want to achieve.
16mm film scratch overlays (209 video files)
These heavy scratches look great when applied on darker footage. The blend modes recommended are "screen" or "lighten". Some of the scratches have a more elegant aspect while others are a bit grittier. These are great assets for giving style and dynamic to a music video. They make great overlays but also nice transitions or motion design elements.
Dark and Black textures taken from vintage 16mm film leaders (42 video files)
They usually work great when applying the "lighten" or "screen" blend modes, but as mentioned for the previous files, you will probably also need to tweak around with brightness, contrast, levels, colour, opacity & other settings depending of what you want to achieve. These files can be useful for giving a vintage creepy horror movie look to darker footage.
